BT will begin operating on Reduced Service on Sunday, May 12th, in Blacksburg; Christiansburg services are not affected.

BT will be on Intermediate Service Thursday & Friday 5/9 - 5/10. Buses will run on Reduced Service until 6:45 pm, then Full Service throughout the rest of the service. Christiansburg services are not affected.

Explorer and TTT Schedule Changes

Starting Monday 5/13, on weekdays, BT Explorer BLU, GLD, and TTT routes will depart 5-10 minutes later than normal on the first trip of the day. The normal schedule will resume on the second trip.

5/10 - Washington St. Delays

Expect delays on CRC, HXP and TOM throughout the day due to commencement and graduation ceremonies. We recommend planning at least 20 minutes extra for travel in the Washington St. area.

Lifestyle & Communications Survey

Blacksburg Transit conducted a survey of Virginia Tech community members to learn more about ridership and how transit can be transformed in the future. The survey was designed to determine current transit habits as well as ways for BT to improve communication between customers and BT. The survey was conducted in the Spring of 2016. A copy of the entire survey results can be found below as well as a brief summary.
